Cornerbrook Downtown Business Association

We’re a not-for-profit organization that is run by a volunteer board. All businesses within the boundaries set in the City of Corner Brook Act as a Business Improvement Area (BIA) are automatically members of the Downtown Business Association. Each member (business or not-for-profit organization) has one delegate who can vote at the AGM and even be nominated to serve on the Board of Directors, provided they are in good standing. While only members can serve on the Board of Directors, friends of the Downtown Business Association are always welcome to sit on committees and assist with events.

Town of Torbay

The Town of Torbay is committed to enhancing its business community by supporting businesses that are looking to get started through its Economic Development Department.

Downtown St. John's

Downtown St. John's, truly one of the most unique destinations you will ever experience. A place where old-world charm mixes with a bustling business core in the oldest commercial district in North America. Downtown St. John's is the most easterly Downtown in Canada and North America.

Downtown St. John's Business Improvement Area (BIA) was created in September 1989 as a self-help mechanism organized and operated by local business. The mandate of Downtown St. John’s is to make the downtown core a more attractive place to live, work, shop, and visit while preserving and enhancing downtown as the dominant commercial centre of St. John’s. We strive to recognize the important balance between the office, retail, hotel, service, and industrial sectors of the area while working to preserve its historic and traditional character.

Downtown St. John's represents more than 500 businesses and services and is committed to the revitalization of the area and the preservation of the historic and traditional character of the downtown. Great dining, shopping, art galleries, museums, music and most of all, great people.

Downtown St. John's, the heart and soul of the City.
